NASH COUNTY, N.C. — After eight years as North Carolina’s chief executive, Gov. Roy Cooper is saying goodbye to the office.
Cooper returned home to Nash County Wednesday to deliver his farewell address.

In a news release, Cooper’s office said looked forward to reflecting on his time as the 75th governor of the Tar Heel state.
Cooper gave his speech at the Nash County Community College.
