Grocer’s last few stores in region set to close

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Bi-Lo supermarket banner is about to disappear from the local market as its last three stores in the Charlotte region are shuttered.

The store at 2924 Mount Holly-Huntersville Road in northwest Charlotte is the only remaining Bi-Lo location in the city, according to the grocer’s website. Its store locator lists just two others in the surrounding region — one in Stanley and one in Monroe.

Each of those locations is set to close in the coming weeks, employees confirmed to CBJ.
