Gunman zip-ties employee, robs business

ROCK HILL, S.C. — A gunman walked into a Rock Hill business Wednesday, made an employee get on his knees, tied him up and emptied the cash drawer, and police are still looking for the robber.

Police said the incident happened just after 3 p.m. when a man with a black bandana over his face walked in with a gun and demanded money, emptying the register into a backpack.

Police said that's when the gunman forced an employee on his knees and zip-tied the employee's hands and feet.

"It's nerve wracking at times," said Erin Miller, who owns Our Friends Den Pet Spa next door. "We normally keep our one door locked, and we are always facing the door anyway."

Police are still looking for the robber, whom they describe as wearing all-black clothing and a black hat.
