CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Tupelo Honey is targeting a winter opening in uptown Charlotte.

The popular Southern cafe has plans for a roughly 4,800-square-foot restaurant in the Bank of America Plaza at 101 S. Tryon St.
It will be the second Charlotte location for the brand. Its 7,100-square-foot restaurant in South End opened in 2013 — and is less than two miles away.
"We have enjoyed being a part of the Charlotte community for nearly six years and this bustling corner of uptown was a great opportunity for us to share more Southern food and libations with guests new and old," says Christin Prince, senior vice president of marketing.
