Hex combines coffee, Japanese food and wine at Camp North End

CHARLOTTE — Hex Coffee is growing at Camp North End.

The Charlotte-based specialty roaster and retailer has opened Hex Coffee, Kitchen and Natural Wines in a 2,700-square-foot space in the Mount district.

Hex, which opened in the Boileryard district in 2018, announced early last year it would relocate in Camp North End and double its footprint there. The expansion is part of the development’s second phase, which includes the adaptive reuse of 201 Camp Road and 701 Keswick Ave.

The expanded location is a Japanese-inspired, all-day café that offers Hex’s full coffee portfolio, as well as signature mocktails, a natural wine selection and a kitchen that serves cuisine influenced by Morita’s Japanese-Hawaiian upbringing.
