HICKORY, N.C. — Hickory police are investigating a homicide Tuesday morning.
Police reports said Lancelot Ellison, 46, was shot multiple times. Neighbors describe to Channel 9 hearing two to three shots fired.
Police issued warrants for first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree kidnapping and one count of felony robbery with a dangerous weapon against Tevin Davis, 23.
Investigators said the two men knew each other.
Police said Davis just got out of jail and is considered armed and dangerous.
Davis made bond in Iredell County on May 23 for an assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, officials said.
Channel 9 also learned that Davis has previously been charged in Catawba County for common law robbery and two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon.
