CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Hornets have launched “The Pull-Up,” a month-long series of activations, pop-ups, partner events, and community engagements taking place across Charlotte and the Carolinas throughout October.
The initiative is designed to build excitement across the region ahead of the upcoming NBA season.
The initiative brings the team’s presence directly into local communities beyond Spectrum Center. Events are scheduled at local restaurants, breweries, retail locations, cultural festivals, and partner sites throughout North and South Carolina.
The series kicked off on Oct. 1 in Uptown with Hornets’ mascot, Hugo, handing out gift cards at the team’s fan shop.
Throughout October, schedule highlights include appearances at:
- Oct. 3: HOLA Charlotte, Oktoberfest at Gilde Brewery
- Oct. 10: Purple and Teal Day at Spectrum Center
- Oct. 16, Oct. 18: North Carolina and South Carolina state fairs
- Oct. 21: Watch Party at Clutch Pourhouse Uptown (Hornets vs. Brooklyn Nets)
- Oct.23: Home Opener
Team personalities, former players, and player interactions are scheduled across various events.
The event series leads up to the Hornets home opener against the Atlanta Hawks on Oct. 23 at Spectrum Center.
