CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Hornets are asking Charlotte City Council for permission to upgrade one of their most visible video boards.
The Hornets want to replace the 324-square-foot video monitor on East Trade Street with a 2,200-square-foot one.
The team plans to move the smaller video board to either 5th Street or Caldwell Street.
The city council held a hearing about the request last night and will vote as soon as next month.
