CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies are working to identify human remains found in southeastern Catawba County, near Catawba Valley Boulevard, Wednesday afternoon.
The sheriff says it’s not clear how long they’ve been there or how the person died.
The medical examiner is working to identify the person and their cause of death.
