HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Some Huntersville residents are pushing back against plans for an 18-bay car wash, lube shop and convenience store with four gas pumps.
The proposed development would be located along Statesville Road, next to The Hamptons neighborhood. According to The Charlotte Observer, the neighborhood boasts 335 homes ranging from $675,000 to over $1 million, two clubhouses, two swimming pools and more.
Neighbors say they are worried about noise, traffic, pollution and privacy.
The town will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Nov. 2. at Town Hall.
