HUNTERSVILLE — Huntersville Police Department investigated an illegal trash dumping case on Saturday.
Officers found approximately 800 pounds of discarded trash.
The officers cleaned up the trash themselves using one of the town’s trucks.
Saturday was the hottest day of the year to date.
