MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — A Myrtle Beach restaurant got a huge surprise that is helping them stay in business during the coronavirus crisis.
Beachfront Kitchen and Bar just opened in February and with the beach shut down now, they are averaging fewer than 10 customers a day.

Tuesday, one of the customers left behind a $1,000 tip for a $19 bill.
“I looked at the receipt and was like ‘Are you sure this is right?’ I called him right back and said ‘Are you sure this is right?’ Because I couldn’t believe this happened and he said ‘Yeah sure, put it to good use,’" owner Jan Dobr said.
The owner said staying open has had its setbacks, but this tip made it worth it.
