CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A fire that caused $5,000 in damage was the result of an incendiary device, officials told Channel 9.
Firefighters responded at 9 p.m. Wednesday to a vacant home on Pointer Ridge Drive in Charlotte.
The damage was contained to a bedroom, officials said.
