CHARLOTTE — An exit on Interstate 85 South has reopened in University City after a fatal crash closed the road.
Exit 45 near East W.T. Harris Boulevard closed early Saturday morning.
MEDIC said one person was pronounced deceased around 3:30 a.m. at the scene of the crash.
The road reopened just after 7 a.m., according to the NCDOT.
No additional details have been made available.
