UNION COUNTY — Investigators now say Kilah Davenport's death is a homicide.
Four-year-old Kilah was a victim of child abuse in 2012. She died earlier this year.
Channel 9 received the medical examiner report that lists the manner of death as homicide. Last week, the autopsy report showed Kilah died of pneumonia due to complications of remote blunt force head injuries.
Her stepfather, Joshua Houser, is in prison after a jury convicted him of felony child abuse back in February.
The Union County District Attorney's Office said it is still reviewing autopsy results to decide if it will charge Houser with murder.
