Investor buys 120-plus acres in Gaston County for residential development

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A land asset manager with significant holdings in the Charlotte region and nationally has added to its local footprint to make way for more residential development.

Walton Global Holdings said it has acquired over 120 acres in Gaston County. The company plans to work with homebuilders for single-family residential development on the site, which is one of several large tracts the company holds in the area.

The land, known as the Tucker property, is in southeast Gastonia just north of Rufus Ratchford Road.
