CHARLOTTE — Administrators at Johnson C. Smith University unveiled a tool Monday that they hope will help break down barriers between law enforcement and the community.

The university received a $50,000 virtual simulator to train students in their criminal justice program and help people understand the difficult choices officers must make daily.
