Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams to open south Charlotte shop in January

CHARLOTTE — Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is expanding its footprint to south Charlotte — and free scoops are on the menu.

The popular ice cream concept’s newest shop opens Jan. 12 at 9828 Rea Road in Blakeney Town Center. It will dish up free ice cream from 7-11 p.m. that day. The first 50 people in line will also receive additional perks.

This marks the fourth location of Jeni’s in Charlotte.
