KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. — Leaders in Kings Mountain will hold a public hearing on Monday on the future of data centers.

People can meet with the city council and share their thoughts. The forum is at Kings Mountain City Hall at 6 p.m.

The city has paused data center projects for one year while leaders review the impacts.

Charlotte will hold a hearing on Oct. 12 to discuss data centers. The council is considering extending its current pause on projects, which expires Nov. 5.
