CHARLOTTE — Crews responded to a crash and fuel spill that closed several lanes along Interstate 85 in north Charlotte Tuesday.
The Charlotte Fire Department responded around 8 a.m. to the scene near North Graham Street. Investigators said there was a 55-gallon diesel fuel spill because of the crash.

Hazmat crews responded to the crash and spill. The North Carolina Department of Transportation helped control traffic and hazmat helped the cleanup efforts.
Two southbound lanes closed but they reopened around noon Tuesday.
It is unclear what led to the crash.
