CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The list of food concepts now open at Optimist Hall keeps growing. Argentinian empanada concept Felix Empanadas opened this week at the expansive adaptive-reuse development in Charlotte’s Optimist Park neighborhood, not far from uptown.

Felix Empanadas will operate in one of the food stalls at Optimist Hall, marking the first bricks-and-mortar location for the popular Charlotte food truck. It’s been around since 2017.
The larger space will allow chef Felix Godward, owner of Felix Empanadas, to offer an expanded menu of savory, breakfast and dessert empanadas.
