Lenoir man held under $1M bond after being charged with attempted first-degree murder

LENOIR, N.C. — Jail records show a Lenoir man is in jail under a $1 million bond after being charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Court documents say Noah Groover “feloniously with malice and forethought attempted to kill and murder Joseph Allen Wood.”

The court documents then describe Wood as a roommate.

Investigators are expected to release more details about the case on Monday.
