Lincoln County deputy charged with cyberstalking, communicating threats

MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — A Lincoln County deputy is in the Mecklenburg County Jail after being charged with cyberstalking and communicating threats.

The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Hargrave Sunday morning.

His charges are misdemeanors.

The sheriff’s office says Hargrave now has a domestic violence protective order against him as well.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says Hargrave is on administrative leave.
