CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Local celebrities, veterans and former Major League Baseball players teamed up to help underserved youth in west Charlotte.
The Knothole Foundation is raising money for the Tuckaseegee Dream Fields and stadium.

Donations can be made on the Knothole Foundation’s website.
Two out of three fields are finished, but another $2 million is needed for phase two of the project, which includes a stadium with an outreach education center for the youth in the area.
“Sports brings us together, and it brings us together in a positive way,” said City Council member Braxton Winston.
