ROCKINGHAM, N.C. — Inside the new Salty Bean Coffee Shop, co-owner Daniel Ruperd has expanded his business that began inside a small tanning salon in Rockingham.
The new location is inside the new Rockingham Goodwill. The Goodwill was once a Lidl grocery supermarket and has now been repurposed into what it is today.

“It’s what Goodwill does—we serve, we help people prosper,” said Goodwill of the Southern Piedmont COO Jose Luis. “This is an opportunity to bring in entrepreneurs into our retail space and share the win that we can have together -- help them grow.”
