Representatives with the company said they wanted to make sure frontline workers received recognition on National Superhero Day. Ally provided gift bags filled with gift cards, superhero capes and other goodies.

The gesture meant a lot to people such as Tetra Rorie, who has been working on the frontline for the last 15 months tracking vaccine data for Mecklenburg County.

“To really have that acknowledgment … just to be recognized that what I am doing is making an impact,” she said.

Mecklenburg County Deputy Health Director Dr. Raynard Washington said taking a moment to show appreciation makes a big difference for his team.

“It’s really great that these folks have been so committed and working so hard this year to just have a little bit of recognition,” he said.
