CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Having just moved from Connecticut in the middle of this pandemic, India Torain found herself without a job or a stable home.
Torain stayed with family for a bit but needed more for herself and her daughter.

That’s when the Hope House Foundation stepped in to provide support.
