Local pastor accused of tax fraud, filing false PPP loan applications

CHARLOTTE — A Charlotte-area pastor has been charged with tax fraud and filing false PPP loan applications.

According to court documents, Frank Jacobs filed false tax returns while serving both the Rock Worship Center and Quest Church.

More recently, the documents allege he filed for a PPP loan that was supposed to be used to pay Quest Church employees, but the documents used for the loan were falsified.

No other details about the investigation have been released.
