The new provisions for flexible work time were announced last week to the roughly 800 employees at Honeywell’s Charlotte headquarters and more broadly to its 34,000 workers in the United States, says Cheya Dunlap, the company’s chief diversity and inclusion officer.
It’s about more than working from home, she says.
“It’s about flexibility,” Dunlap says. “It’s about a menu of options as opposed to having one particular way of working for everyone.”
