Police arrested a man accused in a deadly shooting at a Gastonia motel in January.
William Hill is charged with second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Police reports said Hill shot Lapriz Blake in the parking lot of the Budget Inn motel on west Franklin Boulevard on Jan. 23.
Channel 9 is asking police if Hill and Blake knew each other.
