MORGANTON, N.C. — Police in Morganton have made an arrest in a railroad track murder case.
Court documents say Christopher Myers has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of David Castro Saldivar.
Following an afternoon investigation on Sept. 26, officers arrested Myers, 53, of Morganton, in connection with the death of another person near the railroad tracks on East Union Street.
Myers has been charged and booked in the Burke County Jail under no bond. The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information is being released at this time.
There is no indication in the court documents of how this allegedly happened, and the SBI is assisting in this investigation.
