GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A man has died after colliding with a truck Saturday in Gaston County, troopers said.
The crash happened around 3:40 p.m. on Hickory Grove Road near Wonderwood Drive near Stanley.
Troopers said a man was driving northbound when he crossed the center line and collided with a truck traveling southbound with two people inside.

According to officials, the man died at the scene. Troopers said he was not wearing a seat belt.
A man from the truck was taken to a local hospital, and a woman was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center - Main. Their conditions are unknown at this point.
