CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is charging a man they say is responsible for more than a dozen home burglaries dating back to last summer.

George Diggs is facing charges including burglary, larceny, stealing a gun, and financial card theft and fraud.
Police say he is already in custody in Cabarrus County for unrelated burglary charges.
