CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In west Charlotte police were investigating a shooting Sunday night where they said the victim ran from the scene.
Officers said that just before 10:30 p.m. they responded to a call on Tuckaseegee Road near Freedom Drive.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a man who had been shot in the upper leg. He refused treatment from both police and medics before running away from the scene.
Authorities alerted local hospitals to be on the lookout while they investigate.
