ROCK HILL, S.C. — A 36-year-old man was hospitalized after a shooting at a Rock Hill home Monday night, according to the Rock Hill Police Department.
Officers responded around 10 p.m. to a home in the 1100 block of Cherokee Avenue.
Police said the man got into an altercation with residents after he refused to leave the home. The dispute became physical, and one of the residents fired a gun, striking the man.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately available.
The Rock Hill Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to investigate the shooting.
