COLUMBIA, S.C. — A man wanted in connection with the shooting deaths of two women has now been taken into custody, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators had been looking for Dontrell Rufus, who authorities said shot and killed two women in a South Carolina home.
Richland County deputies said the shooting happened Monday night in a home near Hopkins, South Carolina.
Deputies said 28-year-old Rufus is charged with two counts of murder. Deputies did not give a motive for the killings.
