A gas station in Asheville installed hand sanitizer stations at each gas pump to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, WLOS reported.

Within hours, surveillance photos showed a man using a crowbar to break open the casing and steal the hand sanitizer.

“It was really for the community. We are not going to stop you from using the hand sanitizer if you are going home to your families, to your kids," Haywood Quick Stop’s Nick Hussein said. "Before you get in the house or wash your hands, put the hand sanitizer on it so you will be safe.”

Investigators are now looking for that man.
