BOONE, N.C. — Police said a masked man robbed a Cracker Barrel in Boone late Thursday.
The man walked into the restaurant on Blowing Rock Road at about 9 p.m. and held up the cashiers at gunpoint. Police said the man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Customers were inside the restaurant at the time, but no one was hurt.
The robber ran away, possibly with another person, toward the shops of Shadowline Mall behind the restaurant.
