CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Mecklenburg County sheriff's van was involved in an accident at about 7 p.m. Tuesday at North Tryon Street and East 26th Street in north Charlotte.
The driver of the other vehicle abruptly moved into the lane the van was traveling in, authorities said.
Paramedics treated that driver, who was cited, at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
