CHARLOTTE — The Brooklyn Village redevelopment project is facing another hurdle.
Mecklenburg County is now suing the developer, BK Partners LLC, in hopes of removing it from the project.
The county says the developer failed to meet required construction and demolition deadlines.
The $700 million project was supposed to transform Uptown Charlotte.
