CHARLOTTE — One person was killed in an east Charlotte crash over the weekend.
MEDIC responded to the intersection of East W.T. Harris Boulevard and The Plaza late Saturday night.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m., the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said there was a road closure in the 4300 block of East W.T. Harris Boulevard. CMPD’s Major Crash Investigations Unit was investigating an accident.
On Sunday MEDIC confirmed that one person was deceased at the scene.
