CHARLOTTE — New pictures show some of the lengths Charlotte firefighters went to to rescue someone trapped in a car by a fallen tree.
The department says two cars parked on Clement Avenue in Plaza Midwood were partially crushed by the tree, just before 8 p.m. Sunday.
They say one driver escaped safely on their own, but the other one had to be extracted.
We’re told that person’s injuries are serious.
