CHARLOTTE — MEDIC needed its mass casualty bus to respond to a crash in University City Sunday afternoon.
It happened around 3 p.m. on I-85 South near University City Boulevard.
Seven people were seriously injured. Two were taken to the hospital by ambulance, the rest were transported by bus.
It’s not clear what led to the crash.
No additional details have been made available.
