Midnight Diner reopens in new location near Spectrum Center

CHARLOTTE — The Midnight Diner is back.

That 24-hour eatery has reopened at its new location near Spectrum Center — roughly a mile away from its former home on the edge of uptown and South End. The distinctive silver diner can now be found at 420 E. Trade St.

That site is being targeted for a major mixed-use development, QueensBridge Collective, by Chicago-based Riverside Investment & Development Co.
