INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. — An Indian Trail company will have all hands on deck Sunday night waiting for the final score of the NFC Championship.
Logodogz is tasked with making the NFC Champion shirts if the Carolina Panthers win. Its workers will be ready to make 20,000 shirts in around 10 hours.
"You know you're pulling for the team but you're also pulling for your business," said Rodney McDonald, Logodogz owner.
The company is making the shirts, in part, because of its capacity to print the number of shirts in a short amount of time.
After the game's finish, it won't have much time to get to work.
"We'll literally have everything up and running all the presses ready to go and then as soon as the game is over we'll start printing," McDonald said.
It's just one company across the region benefiting financially from the team's success.
The shirts, for example, will go out to area retailers which profit. Meanwhile, local government will collect taxes on the transactions.
Business leaders say the area is also getting a great boost in marketing thanks to a boost in national and international media coverage.
"It truly encourages others and peaks the interest of others to make them want to come and be a part of this community," said Ronnie Bryant, CEO of the Charlotte Regional Partnership. "The Panthers are giving us the level of attention that we couldn't buy if we really wanted to."
