NORTH CAROLINA — Ford is recalling more than 150,000 of its Fiestas. The Fiestas have an issue with an airbag that may not inflate during a crash.
The recall affects Fiestas from 2011 through 2013.
Ford said that if the front passenger seat is empty, the side airbag will not inflate to protect rear-seat passengers.
Dealers must reprogram the computer that controls the airbag. They will do the repair for free.
