The Union County district attorney has dropped murder charges against three individuals.
In 2010, Damien Allen and Damien Thompson were charged with shooting Michael Richardson near a home on English Street.
Lacey Carnes was also charged as an accessory to the 2009 homicide.
The district attorney said there is not enough evidence to take the case to trial now that witnesses have changed their stories.
