CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Officials in Chester County have confirmed a major economic development.

During Monday night's council meeting they announced a manufacturing company is investing $565 million in the county and bringing 1,500 jobs.

Officials are calling it "Project Summer" and it is the largest, single economic announcement ever for the county. County leaders expect to unveil the company in July.
