A North Carolina-grown restaurant chain known for its biscuits is named on a list of America’s best regional fast-food brands — and it’s not Bojangles.
Biscuitville Fresh Southern, a family-run breakfast eatery based in Greensboro, lands at No. 9 on that ranking, part of USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

At No. 1 on the list is the Habit Burger Grill, owned by industry giant Yum Brands.
A total of six restaurant chains, including Biscuitville and Habit, that made the 10Best ranking have at least one location in the Charlotte area.
