DAVIDSON, N.C. — North Carolina Gov. Josh Stein visited Davidson Elementary School on Thursday to meet with teachers and talk about investing in education. It was part of Legilslators in School Week.
Stein’s Critical Needs Budget would raise starting and average teacher pay, as well as restore master’s degree pay.

The governor also toured Trane Technologies’ training facilities to talk about clean energy initiatives.
